Leslie Hunt elected Vice President
of Tarrant County Young Lawyers Association

FORT WORTH – Leslie Hunt, an associate with Decker, Jones, McMackin, McClane, Hall & Bates, P.C., has been elected Vice President of the Fort Worth-Tarrant County Young Lawyers

Association. Her six-month term runs through Feburary 28, 2008.

Hunt has been on the TCYLA Board of Directors since February, 2006, and has served as the organization’s Social Director and Secretary; she was the coordinator of the monthly social events and planned the 2006 Fall Fete, which was the fall membership drive. She also served as the co-chair of the Spring Fiesta fundraiser for two years.

She is a member of the committee planning the 12th Annual Sweethearts Dessert Fantasy, a fundraiser for the Lena Pope Home, and recently was appointed committee co-chair of volunteers for the 7th Annual Cookies & Castles: A Gingerbread Extravaganza, which is a three-day fundraising event for Cook Children's Hospital and the Jean Wiggin Roach Scholarship fund at TCU. The event is planned, organized and implemented by the Fort Worth Alumnae Chapter of Delta Delta Delta.

Hunt has been invited to become a member of the prestigious Eldon Mahon Inn of Court, an association of judges, lawyers, law professors and law students in Fort Worth and Tarrant County whose mission is to "improve the skills, professionalism and ethics of the bench and bar."

Hunt is a graduate of Baylor University School of Law and her practice areas include Commercial Litigation, Probate, Labor and Employment, Real Estate and Trademark Infringement Litigation.
