Appellate
Our Appellate Practice Group handles the appeals of all civil cases, as well as emergency and original proceedings, in the intermediate and high court levels of the Texas state and federal systems. Members of the section have participated in numerous appeals involving a wide range of legal issues, including commercial disputes, business torts, real estate disputes, oil and gas litigation, intellectual property litigation, products liability claims, personal injury litigation, insurance coverage, and transportation litigation. The section also provides unique support for the firm’s trial teams by assisting with complex motion practice, jury charge preparation and argument, expert witness challenges, preservation of error, and post-verdict motion practice.
