DECKER JONES ATTORNEY ERIC CAMP SELECTED TO JOIN THE INAUGURAL INSTITUTE FOR ENERGY LAW LEADERSHIP CLASS

Decker Jones P.C.’s Eric Camp, an Oil & Gas Law Specialist, has been selected for the inaugural Leadership Class of the Institute for Energy Law (IEL). Camp is one of only 35 attorneys from across the US, and the only one from the Dallas/Fort Worth area, chosen for this honor.

Camp is Board Certified in Oil, Gas, and Mineral Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.  He is licensed to practice law in Texas and North Dakota. Camp represents operators, mineral owners, surface owners, and municipalities in oil and gas transactions, litigation, regulatory matters, and title examinations.

The IEL, a division of The Center for American and International Law, is a membership organization and counts many of the leading energy companies and attorneys among its international membership.  A flagship legal institution in the energy industry, the IEL provides superior educational and professional opportunities for lawyers and professionals through educational courses, conferences, scholarly publications and membership activities.

With an acceptance rate of less than 50%, the Leadership Class participants were chosen by a committee through a rigorous application process that evaluated their skills, accomplishments, and overall passion for energy law. The Leadership Class will take part in a leadership retreat in September and continue through April 2019 with various webinars, networking events, programming at IEL’s 70th Annual Oil and Gas Law Conference, and graduating at the 3rd National Young Energy Professionals’ Law Conference.
