Fort Worth, TX – Decker, Jones, McMackin, McClane, Hall & Bates is proud to announce that Shareholder Janet L. Hahn has been selected a 2014 “Power Attorney” by the Fort Worth Business Press.

Hahn’s practice focus is Estate Planning and Probate, Business and Corporate, and Employee Relations. She has been with Decker Jones as an attorney since 1995, although she began with the firm in 1985 as a legal secretary.

Hahn graduated from Texas Wesleyan University Magna Cum Laude and earned her juris doctor from Baylor Law School in 1995.

Previously, she has been recognized as a Rising Star, by Thomson Rueters, (2005) and a Super Lawyer by Thomson Reuters (2010), and as a Tarrant County Top Attorney by Fort Worth Texas Magazine (2002-2014), and as a Great Woman of Texas (2005), Woman of Influence by the Fort Worth Business Press (2005).

If she is “Powerful” in the legal field, she is “Super Powerful” in the volunteer/community involvement area. Hahn has been recognized with awards by the YMCA, Legal Aid of Northwest Texas and Tarrant County College, and has served on the board of directors for the Women’s Center of Tarrant County, McDonald Community Services Branch of YMCA, Leadership Fort Worth, Casa Mañana and the Tarrant County College Foundation.
